1) My stance on abortion is Pro-Choice.

  • I am pro-choice because sometimes abortion is a woman's last or only option.
  • I am pro-choice because sometimes the child will be born into a bad or harsh environment.
  • Many people think that abortion can be avoided by adoption, but seeing as there are so many children up for adoption as it is, I don't think that is the best option either.

2)"Denying women the right to abortion makes women bear all the hardship and blame for unwanted pregnancies, ignoring the fact that men bear responsibility too, and that many unwanted pregnancies result from unwanted intercourse." -Betsy Hartmann

3)In other words: if you deny a woman the right to abort then you are forcing her to deal with the struggles and blame that comes from the unwanted pregnancy, while ignoring the fact that the man is responsible too, and that many unwanted pregnancies come from being raped.

4)"A pregnancy to a woman is perhaps one of the most determinative aspects of her life. It disrupts her body. It disrupts her education. It disrupts her employment. And it often disrupts her entire family life." -Sarah Weddington

5)This is exactly what happen to my cousin after she got pregnant. Her boyfriend left her, her parents could barely even talk to her, she had to drop out of school, and she became so depressed and stressed out the she ended up having a miscarriage.

Powerful Pictures: Islamabad blast

1)

2) This picture is about the Islamabad blast. A suicide bomb exploded outside a Marriot hotel destroying the cars in the parking lot and much of the building itself. Dozens are dead and many more are seriously injured.

3) The message that this picture presents to me is that violence in the world has excalated to an imaginable level. People are now willing to die for no reason expect for the act itself of violence; that is truly wrong.
4) I can relate my life to this picture because whether we like it or not this country is at war, and it's only a matter of time before another attack comes. Many people think that if there is another terrorist attack it will be either in L.A or N.Y, seeing as thousands of people are located in those cities; blowing up the Liberty Tower would be a major blow. I live in a country where half the people live their life expecting it to end the next day because of a bomb package, and the other half not really caring at all. So if I next see on the new that the Sears tower in Chicago has collapsed because of a terrorist attack, I'll be truly sorry that I can't say I'll be surprised.
